Techno-Economic Strategy for the Load Dispatch and Power Flow in Power Grids Using Peafowl Optimization Algorithm

The purpose of this paper is to address an urgent operational issue referring optimal power flow (OPF), which associated with a number technical and financial aspects relating issues environmental concern. In the last few decades, OPF has become one most significant in nonlinear optimization research. generally improves performance electric distribution, transmission, production within constraints control system. It determine way run For system, OPFs can be created variety objectives. Based on these findings, proposes peafowl algorithm (POA). A powerful meta-heuristic inspired by collective foraging activities among swarms. By balancing local exploitation worldwide exploration, able strike balance between exploration exploitation. order solve problems involving OPF, using standard IEEE 14-bus 57-bus electrical network, POA been employed find values variables. Further, there are five study cases, namely, reducing fuel costs, real energy losses, voltage skew, cost as well loss costs deviation, emissions costs. use cases facilitates fair comprehensive evaluation superiority effectiveness comparison coot (COOT), golden jackal (GJO), heap-based optimizer (HPO), leader slime mold (LSMA), reptile search (RSA), sand cat (SCSO), skills (SOA). simulations, demonstrated outperform its rivals, including COOT, GJO, HPO, LSMA, RSA, SCSO, SOA. addition, results indicate that capable identifying appropriate solutions. also successfully investigating preferred locations, ensuring fast convergence speed enhancing engine’s capabilities.
